IPPA Board supports pork industry's We Care program

The Iowa Pork Producers Association is now on record of supporting the pork industry’s We Care Responsible Pork Initiative.
 
The We Care Responsible Pork Initiative is a joint effort of the Pork Checkoff, through the National Pork Board, and the National Pork Producers Council, to help demonstrate that producers are accountable to established ethical principles and animal well-being practices.
 
The IPPA Board of Directors unanimously approved two motions June 16 encouraging pork producers and meat packers to adopt and support the We Care program.
