Sarah Wall is from Iowa City in Johnson Co. and is a freshman at Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids. She is majoring in agricultural geospatial technology and ag education and minoring in animal science. Wall plans to transfer to Iowa State University or Dordt College next fall and pursue a degree in ag education. She is the daughter of Tom and Anita Wall. Katlyn Kahler is a freshman at Iowa State University. She is studying animal science and working toward a five-year master’s degree program. Katlyn hopes to pursue a marketing and sales career in the swine industry following graduation. Her parents are Wade and Pam Kahler of Cambridge in Story Co. Matt Kerns is from Clearfield in Taylor Co. A sophomore at Iowa State University, he is an animal science major with a strong interest in swine genetics. His goal upon graduation is to be active in high-quality niche pork marketing and helping impoverished nations develop affordable and sustainable protein sources. Matt is the son of Steve and Becky Kerns.

Iowa Pork Queen
The Iowa Pork Producers Association selects an Iowa Pork Queen and Iowa Pork Princess annually to assist with state pork promotional and educational activities.  The Queen contest is open to anyone who is involved in the pork industry or the daughter of a parent or guardian involved in the pork industry; is passionate about the Iowa pork industry; and is a high school senior to age 20.The competition is held annually during the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines in January. The 2015 Iowa Pork Queen contest will be held at the Des Moines Downtown Marriott and the Iowa Events Center on Jan. 27 and 28.

Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador
The Iowa Pork Producers Association selects an Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador each year to assist with state pork promotional and educational activities. The Youth Ambassador contest is open to anyone who is involved in the pork industry or the son/daughter of a parent or guardian involved in the pork industry; is passionate about the Iowa pork industry; and is a high school senior to age 20. The Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador competition is held annually during the Iowa Pork Congress in Des Moines in January. The 2015 Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador contest will be held at the Des Moines Downtown Marriott and the Iowa Events Center on Jan. 27 and 28.
