College ag students invited to apply for IPPA summer internships
Posted Dec. 4, 2009

If you’re an agriculture major at an
Iowa college or university and interested in learning more about the pork industry, you’re encouraged to apply for one of three summer internships being offered by the Iowa Pork Producers Association for 2010.

IPPA has internships available in Promotions/Public Relations, Producer Education and Legislative Affairs. Each intern will begin in mid-May and work through the Iowa State Fair in August.

Candidates must be
Iowa residents and full-time college students with an agriculture-related major. Interested students must submit a cover letter, resume and 500-word essay to IPPA by Feb. 12, 2010.

Those selected as interns receive a $4,000 stipend for expenses as well as a $2,000 scholarship paid directly to their school.

Feel free to share this information with any students you think might be interested.
