The Iowa Pork Producers Association (IPPA) will be selecting its first Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador in 2008. The Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador will represent the pork industry with pork promotional and educational activities.

The Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador will be given wonderful opportunities to develop leadership and public relations skills throughout the year. He/she will also receive a $2,000 scholarship along with other prizes.

Steps to become the Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador include:

1.	You have to be a member of the Iowa Pork Youth Team. You can register online or contact the IPPA office at 800-372-7675.
2.	Age: You have to be a senior in high school up to age 20 by the time of the contest (January 22-23, 2008).
3.	Register to participate in the Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador contest by November 16, 2007.
4.	Participate in the Iowa Premier Pork Youth Ambassador contest on January 22 & 23, 2008.
