Twenty Iowa pork producers took time away from their operations to promote pork in Washington D.C. Held September 22-25, the Iowa producers were able to hit 30 Giant Food Stores with fresh pork demonstrations during the promotion, which featured boneless pork loins at $1.99/lb. Producers from Tama, Van Buren, Linn, Adair and Story counties participated in the promotion, which was coordinated by the IPPA in cooperation with the National Pork Board.
