Football Cheese Dip
Ingredients:
- 2 – 8 oz pkg cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 – 8 oz pkg shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/3 c roasted red peppers, drained & chopped
- 1/3 c thinly sliced green onions
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 lb bacon, cooked, drained and finely crumbled (divided)
- Any type of white cheese slices
- Pretzels, butter crackers, celery, bell pepper slices, etc for dipping
Instructions:
- Put the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, green onions, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and half of the bacon in a bowl. Stir until well mixed.
- Shape into a football, refrigerate 1 hour
- Roll in remaining bacon pieces
- Cut white cheese into strips and make “laces” in the bacon
- Serve with pretzels, crackers, veggies
