On Monday, April 5, we’re giving away uncooked 5-POUND PORK LOINS and BACON to the first 1,000 households. Details below.
It’s our way of saying “Thank You” for supporting Iowa pig farmers and employees at processing facilities as they’ve worked to keep a safe food supply available to the community and for the country—despite COVID-19 challenges.
At an early afternoon event organized by the Iowa Pork Producers Association, IPPA President Dennis Liljedahl of Essex will say thank you to the local community for its support through the past year.
Also as part of the “Thank You” celebration, Iowa pig farmers will:
- Donate to local food pantries for their continued work to alleviate hunger.
- Provide pork coupons at local grocery stores for consumers to use.
- Deliver pork thank-you baskets to local first responders.
