On Wednesday, April 21, 2021, we’re giving away uncooked 5-POUND PORK LOINS to the first 1,000 households. Details below.

It’s our way of saying “Thank You” for supporting Iowa pig farmers and employees at pork processing facilities as they’ve worked to keep a safe food supply available to the community and for the country—despite COVID-19 challenges during the past year.

At an early afternoon event organized by the Iowa Pork Producers Association, Buena Vista County farmers Mike and Michelle Ehlers of Marathon will say thank you in-person. Iowa Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig will join the event.

Also as part of the “Thank You” celebration, Iowa pig farmers will:

  • Donate to local food pantries for their continued work to alleviate hunger.
  • Provide pork coupons and packages to local grocers, so they can share materials with their customers.
  • Deliver pork products to local first responders.
