Chris has served as the marketing and logistics director for Prestage Farms of Iowa for the past 16 years. He has worked in almost all areas of pork production—including owning barns and working as a hog buyer.
He is a Strategic Investment Program member and pork delegate, and annually volunteers at the Iowa Pork Tent during the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines. He also was part of the 2014 class of the Iowa Pork Producers Association's Leaders of Tomorrow, now known as the Iowa Pork Leadership Academy. On a local level, he is a member of the Story County Pork Producers.
Chris has an agricultural business degree from Iowa State University in Ames.
