One-Pot Ground Pork Stroganoff

Ingredients

  • ¼ cup butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 cup sliced yellow onion
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1/3 cup dry white wine
  • 3½ cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 ounces egg noodles
  • ¾ cup sour cream
  • Fresh parsley for garnish, optional
  1. Melt butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the sliced mushrooms and onions; cook for 3 to 4 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are tender. Move the mushrooms and onions to one side of the skillet.
  3. To the other side of the skillet add the ground pork and minced garlic.
  4. Brown the ground pork until completely cooked then stir it all together.
  5. Sprinkle the flour into the skillet and stir; let cook for 1 minute.
  6. Add the wine, broth, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper and egg noodles.
  7. Bring mixture to a boil, and let cook for 10 to 12 minutes, stirring occasionally until the pasta is soft.
  8. Remove from the heat and stir in the sour cream.
  9. Add salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle fresh parsley on top for garnish. Serve warm.
