The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for an internship position for the summer of 2013.
The future of agriculture depends not only on the success of the livestock and poultry industries, but also the involvement of the next generation in the industry. That is why CSIF offers an internship – to encourage students to take an active role in assisting the livestock industry and gain the knowledge needed to lead the agriculture industry.
The coalition intern will have responsibilities for numerous projects and communication efforts from May to August, to assist CSIF in achieving the mission “to advocate and help implement on-farm best management practices that assist Iowa’s farm families in raising livestock responsibly and successfully.”
To apply, please submit a cover letter and resume by Dec. 1, 2012, to:
Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers
P.O. Box 9127
Des Moines, IA 50306
Applications also can be directed to Rita Cook at rcook@supportfarmers.com.
