The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers is now accepting applications for an internship position for the summer of 2015.
CSIF is offering an internship to encourage students to take an active role in assisting the livestock industry and gain the knowledge needed to lead the agriculture industry.
The coalition intern will have responsibilities for numerous projects and communication efforts from May to August, to assist CSIF in achieving its mission “to advocate and help implement on-farm best management practices that assist Iowa’s farm families in raising livestock responsibly and successfully.”
Interested students can submit a resume at the CSIF booth at the upcoming Iowa State University Ag Career Fair on Oct. 14 in Ames or by e-mailing Rita Cook at firstname.lastname@example.org. Applications are due Oct. 14, 2014.

The Coalition to Support Iowa’s Farmers was created by farmers to help farmers raise livestock successfully and responsibly. It’s a joint partnership involving the Iowa Cattlemen’s Association, Iowa Corn Growers Association, Iowa Farm Bureau Federation, Iowa Pork Producers Association, Iowa Soybean Association, Iowa Turkey Federation and Midwest Dairy Association.
