We’ll see you in 2023 for the 10th annual Swine Spectacular!

Swine Spectacular is an annual pork education event, for youth ages 8 to 18, traditionally held in conjunction with the Iowa State University Block & Bridle Club’s Spring Market Hog Show in Ames. Each participant will receive a T-shirt and compete throughout the morning to win various prizes.

Attendees can earn points in the following ways:

  • photo and essay entries (optional, due for judging prior to the event). Guidelines below.
  • swine judging.
  • contests.
  • workshops.

Points from events will be tallied up, with awards presented at the end.
