A 2,750-head farrowing complex located about 35 miles north of Sioux City near Craig in Sioux County will be sold in an online-only auction later this month.

The farm, built in the 1980s, is fully functional and includes three main large buildings that are connected to each other and are divided into various farrowing and gestation rooms, as well as a weaning room.

The farrowing facility has 448 stalls and is divided into multiple rooms. The two gestation buildings have 540 and 558 stalls and both have drop feeding systems. There also are three smaller gestation facilities and a gilt isolation barn at the complex.

The property has a two-million gallon fenced in, concrete manure storage basin that includes a scraper system and lift pump station. A manure management plan is currently in place, but the buyer will need to replace or re-establish the plan after taking possession.

The farm has ample feed storage with four 14-ton bulk bins, five 12-ton bins and one three-ton bin.

Other amenities include a newer office area and a 40-foot by 48-foot compost building
