Thousands of fans attending the Georgia-Florida college football game in Jacksonville, Fla., Oct. 27 enjoyed a special pork promotion before the game.

 

Several members of the Tama County Pork Producers made the trek to Jacksonville for the promotion, which was co-sponsored by Winn Dixie Stores and Hormel. This promotion has been held for several years and Tama County has participated each year, providing grills and people.

 

Nearly 15,000 pork sandwiches were served to fans before the game that’s billed as the “World’s Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party.”
