Al is president and majority owner of G & W Pork, a farrow-to-finish business with 1,600 sows. About 40,000 pigs are marketed annually to Tyson in Waterloo.
Wulfekuhle has served on the Iowa Pork Producers Association Board of Directors, leading the association as president in 2016; the Buchanan County Pork Producers Board and the IPPA Producer Education Committee. He was named a county and state Master Pork Producer in 1991. Most of his other pork industry involvement has come through contract managing and keeping production records for other farms. Al also spearheaded a PRRS control project for southeastern Buchanan County.
He and his wife, Kathy, have three children.
